Mission

We put the patient at the heart of everything we do to:

·      Ensure East Sussex is considered an exemplar place for MSK healthcare

·      Contribute to addressing the known health inequalities in our patient population and our underserved communities

Guiding Principles:

·      Collaboration – we will harness the value, skills and expertise across our partner organisations to achieve greatest benefit for our patients and our teams.

‘Togetherness’ will be celebrated, ‘Them & Us’ behaviours will be challenged.

·      Power through communication – we will use communication to empower our teams, striving to ensure all partner members have the required information available to them to achieve their best.

·      Empower leadership at all levels – we will value and understand the leadership capabilities across all teams, irrespective of grade or seniority. We will enable the right leaders to own the right opportunities.

·      Shared resources – where valuable, we will co-create shared resources, to avoid duplication and improve patient and team experiences.

·      Continuous improvement – we will build on our strong foundations by embracing a continuous improvement approach to the way that we work. Improvements will be data-driven, planned and iterative, with involvement from all stakeholders and communities impacted by these.
