East Sussex MSK Community Partnership (ESMSK) collaborates with local organisations to offer interpreter and translation services for communication between patients and clinicians. If you need an interpreter or translator, we will organise one for you. If we’ve scheduled an appointment for you and you would like an interpreter or translator, or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please keep in mind that having a family member or friend as your interpreter during clinical appointments is not suitable. To make sure you fully understand the clinical discussions that may take place, and feel comfortable asking questions or discussing your concerns, we will always arrange for a neutral third party to assist with your appointments within our service.

SMSKPE works with Vandu and BSL link to provide virtual, telephone and face to face services which allows patients to access any appointment offered and have meaningful dialogue with their clinician in their own preferred language.

Vandu Languages
“Vandu Languages want to be the first point of call for quality interpreting and translation for public, private and third sector organisations in the UK and abroad. We want our customers, interpreters and translators to feel like Vandu Languages is part of their team, rather than just a service provider.” Read more.
